Garden Ridge, Texas ~ Cast your Ballot!

Early Voting at Garden Ridge, Texas what a wonderful experience!

On my way to the office this morning I stopped off in beautiful Garden Ridge, Texas at their municipal offices and voted.  It was the most pleasant experience I have encountered in my 23 so few years of being able to vote!

As I drove in I noticed directional signs everywhere...they said VOTE in big red letters that usually accompanied an arrow directing me in my voter direction.

I marched right in expecting a wait...well, where was everyone?  There were more ladies there to assist me in my quest than there were voters!  Ahh, how pleasant!

As the only voter in line I was treated like royalty.  After showing them my voter registration card (they didn't want my ID to double check if I was truly THE Sheila Moran voting) ...I VOTED!

In years passed I always remember a busy parking lot, so many signs that you didn't know where to go, a long line, grumpy people complaining about "doing their duty" and the such.

The sign says it all, there is EARLY voting at Garden Ridge for the next 2 days!

If you are interested in voting at a beautiful facility, wonderful people to assist you and spending less than 6 minutes TOTAL!  Take a little stroll down to Garden Ridge, Texas.

I love being able to see what you see... nice eye candy. A beautiful spot to vote, indeed. :-)

After hearing about the long lines here I am not to sure that I will be doing any early voting.  I'll just take the day off next Tuesday and have some face time in line with the other voters.  BTW, nice photos.

Maryland has the question of early voting on a ballot vote this time. Hopefully it will pass.

We are debating voting early today or just voting on Tuesday election day.

I've been meaning to head up to vote, but need to look at the local election choices first...  I remember voting 4 years ago on voting date, and the place was dead.  More workers than there were voters.

Sheila - Is the new Garden Ridge facility nice? Both Ceil and I have voted earlyl. There was a line but it moved quickly. If we can we always vote early so that people that work out of the county won't have to wait so long on Nove. 4th.

I do hope  employer's will allow employee's to leave early to vote since the media says we will have record turn-out.

C - eye candy just for you!

K- who can keep a secret around here?

Don- sorry, I was afraid of that rat race!  Your braver than I!

Rich-it's really nice to do when you have the time.

Jim-my entire thoughts were about my time!

Donna-I sure hope that's not the case this time around!

Carl-guess you went to the courthouse, huh?  Just wasn't on my way..and Garden Ridge was so beautiful.  You know the building sits up on a hill and then there are stairs going in.  So, when I walked out I had that beautiful treed view to enjoy!

Wow, what a great idea!  That is so cool.  We just completed our absentee ballots.  No waiting in line that way either
